The Club has a small inventory of key safety items available for free loan to members. If you would like to borrow club equipment, please follow these steps:
- Read the booking terms and conditions. You are responsible for its safe & appropriate use.
- Book the items you want to borrow here
- Use the form below to contact the Equipment Officer to arrange collection (you will be told where & how to do this)
- Collect the kit. Make sure you have the right items.
- Return promptly after your trip in a clean & dry condition.
If you want to borrow kit for a personal trip (ie. Something not on the booking sheet), email the club Equipment Officer. Club trip bookings always take precedence.
Don’t pass club kit to other members without informing the Equipment Officer – you will still be held responsible for any kit booked out in your name.
Some items of group safety equipment (PLB, First Aid Kits & Group Shelters) are reserved for Trip Contacts only of official club trips and are never available for personal trips.

4x Motorola T80 Extremes radios. These are available for use by members and are usually taken on the hill on most events.
The ICEBOX® igloo construction tool is used for igloo building by creating sequential blocks in place. You set the clamps on the form then fill it while packing. After you have filled it you unclamp it and slide it to the next position.
The club has an igloo camp weekend every year and having always relied on long time member Andy Ince to borrow his, in 2020 the club purchased one for members use.
